Springboard Retail Closes Year with Stellar Growth in Revenue, Team Size, and Logo Acquisition

Detroit Institute of Arts, Kennedy Center, Arezzo, and Southern Tide join Lilly Pulitzer Signature Stores, Monkee’s, Copper Penny, and Scout & Molly’s as part of Springboard Retail’s growing portfolio

Boston, MA—Springboard Retail, the leading cloud POS and Retail Management platform designed to help growing brands and retailers drive sales and margin, today announces its 2018 year-end growth report, with surges in revenue, customer count, and headcount.

Springboard Retail now boasts over 800 customers, having added notable new names as The Kennedy Center, Detroit Institute of Arts, Sugarboo & Co., Arezzo USA (Alexandre Birman, Schutz), Southern Tide, and Dress Up this year. Springboard Retail's strong expansion of their portfolio of fashion brands, franchises, affiliate channels, and leading cultural institutions resulted in high double digit revenue growth in 2018.

In 2018, Springboard Retail almost doubled the size of its team, with new members and senior leaders joining various departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance teams. New positions include Senior Directors of Client Services, Product and Engineering, and Vice Presidents of Marketing, People, Finance, and Sales. In 2018, the organization made the decision to transition from a traditional office environment at its headquarters in downtown Boston to a work from anywhere (“WFA”) policy, allowing them to recruit talent globally. Springboard Retail’s ability to keep pace with the needs of its customers is reflected in this very forward-thinking work environment. Collectively, Springboard team members boast over 185 years of retail experience.
